About Marvel's Wolverine
Marvel's Wolverine launched exclusively on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026 — the blockbuster from Insomniac Games, the studio behind the acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man series. Insomniac confirmed the date in early 2026 and showed extensive new gameplay at a June State of Play.
It is a single-player, third-person action-adventure starring Logan — the clawed, near-indestructible mutant — and Insomniac's first M-rated game, leaning into the brutal, savage side of the character. The studio is building it as the start of a new Marvel franchise on PlayStation, the way its Spider-Man games became system sellers.
Arriving just two months before GTA 6, Marvel's Wolverine is one of the most anticipated console exclusives of the year. Add this countdown to your own page, or browse our games group for more launches worth the wait.
