About UEFA Euro 2028
UEFA Euro 2028 kicks off on June 9, 2028, hosted across England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland, with the final at Wembley on July 9. The countdown above ticks toward the opening match — 51 games across nine venues in eight cities.
It is the first major tournament co-hosted by the four nations, on grounds steeped in football history: Wembley, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Hampden Park in Glasgow, Dublin's Aviva Stadium and more. Spain arrive as back-to-back European champions after 2024 — and the host nations get the rare chance to chase a trophy at home.
Held every four years, the UEFA European Championship is the continent's biggest international football tournament after the World Cup, and Euro 2028 lands in the early summer window between June and July. With qualifying and the final draw still to come, anticipation builds for years in advance — add Euro 2028 to your own countdown page and the clock above will tick down to the opening match.
