About Enola Holmes 3
Enola Holmes 3 is the third film in Netflix's hit mystery series, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as Sherlock Holmes' sharp, fourth-wall-breaking younger sister. Based on Nancy Springer's young-adult novels, the films follow Enola as she builds her own detective agency in Victorian England while outsmarting her famous brother. After the first two movies became among Netflix's most-watched titles, the third arrives as one of the streamer's most anticipated releases of the year.
This instalment takes Enola to the Mediterranean island of Malta for a fresh case, all while a long-running romance reaches a milestone: a wedding involving Louis Partridge's Lord Tewkesbury. Henry Cavill returns as Sherlock, with Helena Bonham Carter as Enola's mother Eudoria, Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty. Philip Barantini directs, bringing his signature kinetic style to the franchise's biggest adventure yet.
Enola Holmes 3 premiered on Netflix on July 1, 2026, dropping worldwide on the same day so fans everywhere could watch at once. It brought back one of streaming's favourite heroines for a new mystery and a wedding.
